Brief Presentation:

Theodore Constant was born into a family of musicians - his grandparents were concert-pianists, and his father cellist, pianist and composer.

He studies ballet in Canada - in Montreal, ("Ecole Superieure de Dance" - "Les Grands Ballets Canadiens"), Toronto ("The National Ballet of Canada") and Winnipeg ("Royal Winnipeg Ballet").

He dances with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Staatsoper Berlin, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Staatstheater Braunschweig and Leipziger Ballet. He also performs as guest and on tours France, Russia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Japan, Canada and the U.S.A.

His repertory includes principal roles in "Swan Lake", "The Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker", "Don Quixote", "Giselle", "La Sylphyde", "Les Sylphydes", "Raymonda", "Carmen", "Faust", "Le Bal des Cadets", "La Fille mal Gardee", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Symphony in C", "Violin Concerto", "Le fils Prodige” - Balanchine, and other numerous neo-classical and contemporary ballets.

He holds Dance Teacher Diplomas from the Dance Academy in Cologne, Germany and the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England.

He choreographs over twenty classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballets.

He is Ballet Master with professional dance Companies and Academies in Germany, France, Switzerland, Romania, Canada and U.S.A. and acts as adjudicator at dance and choreography competitions.

His students are now dancing professionally in Europe, Canada and the United States.

He is Artistic Director with the Cologne Dance Academy, Germany, OSC Dance Company & School of Dance, Canada, and presently with the N. California Dance Conservatory, U.S.A.
